Rajesh Dandotiya (born 13 June 1975) is an Indian police officer, cybercrime investigator, and author, serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Crime Branch, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is recognized for his work in cybercrime prevention, digital fraud investigations, and large-scale public awareness initiatives on cyber safety. Throughout his career, he has led investigations into financial fraud, digital arrest scams, online betting networks, and other cyber-enabled crimes while conducting more than 1,000 cyber awareness programmes across India. His contributions to public cyber education have been recognized by multiple record organizations, including the World Book of Records.
Dandotiya is the author of several books on cyber security, including Cyber Crime Prevention and Fraud Management, Inside the Cyber Crime Files and Cyber Protector, and Cyber Rakshak. Drawing upon his experience in law enforcement, his writing seeks to make cyber security accessible to the general public through real-life case studies, practical guidance, and preventive awareness.
